You don’t need expensive instruments to start your rhythmic adventure! With just a few materials and a bit of creativity, you can build a professional drum perfect for practicing at home, at school, or marching in a group like a real percussionist.
✅ What you need (The Shopping List):
- The Body: An empty paint bucket (recommended size: 18, 20, or 30 liters).
- The Strap: 2 grosgrain ribbons (4 cm wide and about 170 cm long).
- The Drumsticks: A pair of drumsticks for snare/drum, model 5A or 7A.
- Tools: A soldering iron (to make clean and precise holes).
🔨 The 3 Assembly Steps:
- Prepare the Bucket: Remove the lid and clean the inside thoroughly. The bottom of the bucket will become the “drumhead” you strike.
- Create the Holes: With the hot soldering iron, melt two side holes near the top of the bucket.
