Rhythmic music tracks for drum or percussion group
After the children, through the various activities on rhythm proposed in the OkRhythm level 1 and OkRhythm level 2 courses, have acquired the rhythmic sense and the concentration necessary to play in a coordinated group, in this section of the site we propose pieces suitable for the creation of a drum or percussion group of your choice or availability..
To give you an idea of what you can achieve, ensuring and emphasising that everything will be very, very simple if you follow our advice, we present two tracks:

To do this, you need to make a drum. First, get paint buckets of different sizes (18/20 litres and/or 30 litres), then remove the lid and make two holes in the side (I recommend using a tin soldering gun) into which you insert a 4 cm wide and 170 cm long grogren tape (tie knots inside the bucket). Finally, complete the set by buying two drum sticks/snare drum no. 5A. Finally, you can now become small but real drummers, practise at home or at school or perform and parade in a group!!!
In addition to the drum and drumsticks, which are indispensable for each of your students, you need an element that we will name ‘snare drummer’ who will play the snare drum. This figure is indispensable and must have musical training. Please note that it does not necessarily have to be a pupil in your class, but you can look for one within your school, even if it is of a different order, or you can contact an external music school, whether private or public. You will only have to concentrate on making the drum part.
LET’S MOVE ON TO THE MUSICAL PART!
Remember that the following symbol that you will find everywhere, called “refrain”, in short means the repetition of the music between the dots. This repetition generally occurs 2 times unless otherwise indicated in the score itself or by the teacher. In our pieces, when you find the refrain, the repetition must occur 4 times.
