Learning to sing in 3 voices – Free activities

FacebooktwitterFacebooktwitter

In this section of the course, children can approach singing in 3 voices by practising our exercises on major and minor chords. To perform the activities correctly, it will be necessary in this case to divide the class into 3 groups. The BLACK notes will be sung by everyone, the BLUE ones (indicated in the SubitoCanto text by number 1) by the 1st group only, the RED ones (indicated in the SubitoCanto text by number 2) by the 2nd group, and the GREEN ones (indicated in the SubitoCanto text by number 3) by the 3rd group. Singing will begin from the 2nd stave.

Like any singing activity, it is advisable, first of all, to make use of both correct posture and adequate breathing. To this end, we always suggest simple and fun warm-up exercises, which you can find by clicking here.

To perform the following activities correctly, you will need to sing the names of the notes while paying attention to their intonation (correct pitch) and duration. Keep your concentration!

Have fun!
